Father Joe Pranzo of St. Tarcisius Church delivers voter registration cards to Framingham Town Clerk after MICAH voter registration drive
Over 250 people from all over MetroWest met on April 26, 2009 at St. Tarcisius Church, Framingham to urge their state elected offiicialsl to pass legislation that would close an old tax loophole for Telephone poles and to allow towns the local option of adding a 1% tax to restaurant meals and hotel rooms. Together, these two revenue sources would bring in millions of dollaars to towns in Metrowest, and to all towns and cities in the State, and help deal with the economic crisis that is hurting schools and other important town services.
