Public Transportation

MICAH has worked to expand the Metro West's regional public transportation system by supporting the Metro West Regional Transportation Authority (MWRTA) as a way to improve public transportation options.

We worked for the approval of the MWRTA by the Selectmen in Framingham, Ashland, and Natick to form the state's 15th Regional Transportation Authority in 2007.  MICAH will work to bring other surrounding towns into the project to increase transit options within and among our communities.
