Education & Youth Violence Prevention

MICAH is working to ensure youth live in safe neighborhoods and have access to a quality education by:

• Working with our statewide affiliate, Massachusetts Communities Action Network (MCAN) to make needed improvements to the state's Shannon Grant approved for Framingham which has increased funding for recreation, job training, and youth violence prevention programming.
• Working to ensure equality in the high school registration process between English-speaking students and students that speak a foreign language at home.
